On-site Mixing
troweled by hand
Our coating is a pour-in-place application that is comprised of rubber granules mixed with a special polyurethane binder. We mix it on-site and trowel it by hand onto your sub-base or surface. The flexible rubber accommodates temperature changes and ground movements, and the material can be used to resurface cracked, uneven concrete.
Benefits of Our Rubber Coating
- Can be installed around railings, support beams, and benches
- Typically installed at 1/2" thickness, but can be made thicker if needed
- Can be installed on concrete, brick, asphalt, and wood surfaces
- Fast-curing — Can be walked on in 24-72 hours and can have heavy objects placed on it in 3-4 days
- Good UV stability, although fading over time is possible in an exterior application
- Surface is permeable and allows water to drain to the sub-base
- Easily cleaned with a leaf blower, garden hose, pressure washer, or soft brush and mild soap
- Easily repairable by removing the damaged area and re-applying the rubber and binder mixture
