Concrete Coating FAQs
How do your exterior coatings hold up in cold climates?

Over 20 years of experience has shown us that our coatings hold up very well in our climate. They're designed to have exceptional thermal weather resistance.
Most of our products penetrate and seal your concrete, so they prevent further deterioration. They're easy to maintain, and they're resistant to oil, mildew, and slipping.

How are your decorative coatings applied?

It depends on the product. They are typically sprayed, stamped, or troweled in place. Some use carving tools, mats, or stencils. The application method allows us to create custom designs and realistic stone appearances.

Is a decorative coating less expensive than new concrete or pavers?

In almost all cases, yes. Our coatings are applied directly on top of the concrete surface, so there are no costs for ripping out or replacing it. They can be applied in as little as two days with far less labor than new concrete work. They're ideal for fixing concrete that has become stained, flaking, pitted, old, or mismatched.

Can they be used if my concrete is badly cracked?

Our rubber coating can be installed over uneven or cracked concrete and can even be applied over missing material. It's available in many colors and can be applied in ways that create borders and patterns. The material itself is flexible and crack resistant.

Do you warranty your products?

Many of our products come with three-year warranties against chipping, peeling, flaking, and loss of adhesion. When we reseal the coating, we'll extend the warranty for another three years. Some materials come with longer warranties.

We give you a lifetime guarantee on all our workmanship.

What kinds of products do you offer for interior floors?

Applying decorative products to interior flooring is extremely popular in today's design industry. We offer several stains, epoxies, and overlays that are ideal for residential and commercial kitchens, bathrooms, garages, family rooms, gyms, and more. Products are available to cover concrete (even damaged concrete), tile, wood, and other solid surfaces. They're easy to maintain, durable, and cost effective.

What should I consider before hiring a contractor?

Before resurfacing a floor or hiring a contractor to do it, ask yourself the following questions:

  • Do I want a high-quality custom floor or a DIY product that may not last as long or be done as well?
  • Is it worth the money to spend a bit more for quality workmanship and professional-grade products?
  • Do I want a product that is eco-friendly, resistant to mold and mildew, and safe from allergens?
  • Should I restore or seal my concrete, bricks, or pavers before they get worse?
  • Should I use a reputable company that's been in business for over 20 years and has the owner on-site for all work?
  • Do I want to use a company that will be around to uphold its warranty and can offer exclusive options?
  • Do I want a floor that can withstand flood damage or do I want to replace more wood, carpet, and floating floors?
